Do amulets & other commercial things really help?

In this “commercial world” there is so much information about different “protective things” which actually causes so much confusion among people. People sometimes like all these mysterious things, but their expectation by using them is actually to create a perfect space full of good energies.
Sometimes I feel that one of the most important tasks I have as Feng Shui practitioner is to try to calm people down and remove the “stress” that misconceptions and fears can create.

Let’s talk about amulets and talismans which are not the same thing. While amulets are generally used for protection and neutralization of unwanted influences, talismans are created to achieve a definite result. The talisman is designed to help a certain person, in a certain way established by “the mages”. Once the result has been achieved, the talisman must be destroyed. How talismans are to be disposed of can vary between different traditions.

Just a reminder, we should never carry on our bodies or carry in our pockets things that we do not fully understand the origins of. If we receive a gift or buy an antique piece from the market, it is always a good idea to check if there are any “issues” with it.
